PK7//PBK27

A set of four paintings forms a plane that cuts through the space at a 30º angle. From floor to ceiling, each painting adapts to the shape of the window. PK7, a pigment used to make black paint, and PBK27, Prussian blue, are applied to opposite sides. The canvas, stretched on both sides, gives the paintings the qualities of a wall.
Due to their chromatic proximity, the two colors become indistinguishable when viewed independently. Their true nature is revealed only when placed side by side. Exposed along the edges, the cotton canvas, staples, and brushstrokes allow each color to be decoded, revealing the wall itself as a painting.
